Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather market and clients information
- Act as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential clients in person and via telephone calls and emails
- Arrange and execute meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
- Manage all incoming sales related emails and phone enquiries
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
- Advise on forthcoming product developments
- Create detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
- Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations.
- Run sales periodic reports
- Conducting researches on the new marketing opportunities
- Assist in development of marketing strategies
- Develop and manage all after-sales activities
Key qualifications:
Holder of Bachelor of Business Administration in Sales & Marketing or equivalent from a recognize University
Minimum of 3 years of proven professional experience.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills; Proficient in English and Swahili
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to persuade others to buy products
Computer literate: Ability to work with Microsoft Office Suite without supervision
Methodological approach to problem solving and be able to use logic and reason to identify alternative solutions
Competent in preparing and making presentations in groups and one to one
